Research Focus

Dr. Curci leads studies aimed at improving treatments for vascular and limb conditions. He has extensive experience managing both commercial and investigator-initiated clinical trials. Notably, he was a national co-leader on a trial studying the effects of doxycycline on small abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA).

Currently, his team is involved in multi-center projects exploring:

  • Innovative devices to manage swelling in the lower legs

  • A modified transtibial procedure called the Ewing Amputation

  • Proteomic changes in patients with small AAA to better understand disease progression

Dr. Curci’s work bridges clinical care and research, helping to bring new insights and treatments from the lab to patients.
