In 2024, Sarah earned her degree in Spanish and International Health from Clemson University and plans to pursue a PhD in Global Health Policy. She currently works at the Nashville VA on the PREVENTABLE Trial—a large, national clinical study investigating whether the cholesterol-lowering medication atorvastatin (Lipitor®) can help adults aged 75 and older live longer, healthier lives by preventing dementia, disability, and heart disease.
